do San Jose bcis officers have a heart?

Hey guys - my 90 days for iEAD will only be in mid July - am currently working on the basis of my H1b which is still valid but I have the possiblity of moving to a job that would allow me to see more of my kids . I currently work an 11 hour day ( 9 am to 8pm) and almost don't see my 4 year old and 4 month old. If I went to San Jose Bcis office ( maybe take my 4 month old baby along for emotional appeal) - do you think they would grant me an early iEAD ? Our 485 application is on my husbands name - so moving jobs is less dangerous for me - I just have to have valid EAD to do so
What do all think??
 
No harm in trying Linda worst case they might deny you. But u might get it from a IIO who luv kids . Though I do't think INS ppl hv any heart ...i may be wrong too.
 
IIO's are not even leaving creatures so how can expect heart but there is nothing to loose in trying sometime miracles happen in INS too.

Your boss truly sounds horrible! You need to switch jobs! I think it is much easier if you are the dependent than primary applicant. Not so sure that INS will grant you iEAD 70+ Days in advance. Even for San Jose that might be pushing it too far!

I suggest you tough it out for atleast another 40 days, then according to an earlier post by SillyMan, some friend of his who went for iEAD was told by the IIO that you can apply for iEAD in 60 days. You can probably quote that and take the baby along. Which might do the trick. But 70+ days will be too difficult.
 
Linda, I guess thats a long time...Well, nothing wrong in trying though....You never Know.
 
thanks for your replies - I will stick it out a little longer and then maybe try my luck for iEAD sometime in June - will let you know if I have any luck.
 
Try for your iEAD in EAD expiry - 60 days, or EAD Renewal + 90 .. whichever is first.

Or you can try for iEAD and tell the IIO your story and pray for the best.

But quite frankly, your problem however genuine it might be, has no bearing or weight to an IIO except on humanitarian grounds. And we all know the sort of importance "humanitarian reasons" get in this country. But yea if you give draw enough attention to the fact and prove their rosy world wrong .. it just might work.
