Do people registed on BCIS website always get approval e-mail?

Just wondering if people who have got approved and were registered on BCIS website, got approval e-mails first?

Basically, if I haven't got an approval e-mail from BCIS, I shouldn't be impatient to check my mail at home for approval notice.
 
some times you get and some times you don't. I have registered at the website and today only my AP approved but never got any email notification. You have to click on your receipt number to see if any action is being taken on your case or LUD would tell you some thing is happening on your case.

1st EAD /AP @VSC : RD 05-MAY-2004
1st AP AD: 20 Aug 04
EAD AD: No news yet but LUD changed two times in last 3 days

As far as I have seen on this form, most of them got I-485 approval emails including me, I haven't seen a case where a person I-485 got approved but didn't get email.
 
you may or may not get the emails. Though I've seen most of the people getting USCIS emails, I havent recvd a single one so far (not even for my approval). But that doesnt mean that USCIS email system is not working. It might be due to the spam filters I had on my email. I wouldnt be surprised if USCIS emails get spam filtered. :D

anyway..check your email settings.
 
Make sure you did this.
"To request e-mail notification about a particular case, check the box to the left of an application receipt number and click the "E-mail On" button. Likewise, to stop receiving e-mail notification about a case, check the box to the left of an application receipt number and click the "E-mail Off" button.".

The speed the e-mails show up in your inbox may depend on your e-mail provider.
 
You should always get emails for approval. Make sure you have the "email" option turned ON for your profile.
 
My husband and I got our EADs approval a couple weeks ago, we didn't received any emails and my email option is turned on. The USINS web site is not updated either, it still says receive the application. We've already got the card though.

You'll get the e-mails only when the online status gets updated. May be they did not update the system when you were approved.
 
we got emails after our AP's got approved on friday.I got 2 emails, one for my husband's EAC number and the other for my EAC number.
