Do not send back your GC

I got this letter from BCIS about 2 months a go to send back my GC due to incorrect date.
I didn't send it back because the date was correct.
And yesterday I received another letter saying that the first letter was sent by mistake and I don't have to send back my GC, and if I send it, they will send it back to me.
