Hi,
Do LUD change when CSC send FP notice? Could people who received FP notice lately pl. answer this . thanks.

Usually YES - your LUD changes and the message also changes to something like this:

On August xx, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting that you appear for fingerprint recording. .....

But again - this is for most of the cases -- there would be 5% of cases where the message does not get updated ( for any type of event that is !)
 
My understanding is that LUD accompanying a message is normal for the 1st FP notice. Not sure if the same is true for the 2nd FP. From what I have observed from the posts here, 2nd FP LUD changes with notice change is not that common.

Those who received their 2nd FP notices, could you please share your experience.

It should , but not really. At least not for everybody... I got a FP on the mail on august 8 but nor status not LUD has changed online.
 
My wife got 2nd FP on July 8, did finger print on Aug 12. Neither date nor status changed until yesterday (Aug 18). Now it says that finger review was received on 8/18 and resumed processing.
 
Yes, if you haven't received your 2nd FP yet, most likely if there is a change in LUD, you are going to get a 2nd FP notice. Note that some people did not get their 2nd FP notices and got their AOS approved. So any kind of activity on your case COULD be good news.

I got two FP notices within a span of 8 days and LUD did not change. Not sure what is happening. :(

HowLongWaiting,

I had my early 2nd FP done on 8/7/04 at Oakland. My original 2nd FP was scheduled on 8/21/04. On 8/20/04, my case was approved.

Online status never changed on my 2nd FP. Basically it says 'It received my 1st FP bla bla bla.' It didn't change when I got my notice for 2nd FP. Didn't change when I got my early 2nd FP done. Only when I got my approval, it changed.
