The USCIS web only says the local offices closed on Thursday.
Do they open on Friday?
I called the number of the local office printed on the transfer notice, but it said the number has no long been used. Seems like the USCIS still use very old information.
now a days most local offices want you to get infopass appointment before they let you in. I know that St paul local office is closed for public on fridays. Check through infopass or call USCIS customer service.
