Received a letter from USCIS about my FOIA request submitted 4 months ago, asked me to call (816)350-5570 (in Missouri) to order my record on CD.
Called this number this morning, the lady who answered the phone told me they have an electrical copy of my file which was scanned in the system, and my request will take from 8 month to 12 month to be processed. I asked her if this request is going to delay my application, she said no.
Anybody knows something about this? should I withdraw my FOIA request? Is what she said correct? Will this request interfere the process of my 485 application? Shed some light, please.
