PERM and I-140 are approved and I-485 is waiting for filing. Now I have to move to the office of the same company in another state (eg NJ ->PA), do I have to start over PERM and I-140 process, or an amendment is enough for this case? I appreciate your kindly reply.

As far as I know, just an ammendment to the existing case is more than sufficient. There are hundreds of people out there who move around to other branches or states. As long as you withhold the same or similar position with your company, things should be a-ok.

Other Gurus, please advise if I am wrong or need to be rectified in my opinion(s).

Good Luck.

As for as i know, if you are just changing the location of your employment, and keeping the company and the nature of the position same, i dont think you need to start over.

Change of Job location

Hi,

Appreciate if some one could help me since I am running out of time.

My labor was filed from New York and after 6 long years it has been approved now since I have moved to Houston TX my lawyer says we have to give your present address and this would move my file from Vermont to Texas service center. I have my borther who lives in NJ and could use his add.

Can someone tell me is it advisable to change the service center as I think it would prolong the process and due to my priority date I can file both concurently. Someone please respond

Thanks
Manish
