I have sponsored my parents immigrant visa and they have received a interview call.
My parents Visa date is next week ,I have filled I-864 forms and I just came to know from a agent in India that I have to fill I-864A also.
My understanding when I talked to USCIS Customer service here in USA was that I-864A is required when I use my spouse or any other house hold member's income for sponsoring my parents , because I am not using anyone's income except my income , I didnt fill-up the form I-864A.
Now I am worried and confused , can anyone please let me know if I require to sent I-864A even if I am not using my wife's or any other person's income to sponsor my parents? I have already sent I-864 but not I-864A.
Also If I-864A is required and my parents dont get I-864A on time before interview date what are the implications.
