Dear all,

I just received the notice for finger print for both myself and my wife. Do I need to call local INS center where we were instructed to do finger print to make an appointment?
thanks in advance.

The date and time on the FP notice is your appointment.

You don't need to call them, just go on scheduled date.

Oh, sorry
I do not remember exactly, but it should be around June, 2003.
BTW, one question: are INS reviewing my 485 case now, since they issued me this finger print notice?
thanks

thanks, I do understand that it is part of 485 process, I mean how long I need to wait once I returned the finger print result.

I know it is hard question, I just try to gain some sense about that waiting time.

thanks again,

Yes !!! finger print is part of the 485 process.

My 2 cents - Finger print report expires in 15 months. So I guess CIS will make a decision before that. But that has not been the convention in the near past. There are people who have done finger prints 3 times. So just hope for the best and hang in there.

Good Luck !!!
