FORM everytime I return to the United States?

I asked this question in another thread, but would like to dedicate a separte one for it....
I just left the country 1 time since I got my RTD, and am planning on doing again this holiday season,

Last time I returned to the US I didn't fill out a new I-94 and everything was OK.... Who do you know about this?
Comments are appreciated.
Thanks!

I have a question which kind of similar to this topic. I never been out of US since I was granted asylum. If I travel abroad with RTD: do I have to surrender my I-94? If I do, are they gonna issue me another one when I return. Will the re-issued I-94 bear "Asylum Status granted indefinetly...".

Thanks folks.

You DONOT have to surrender your I-94

I posted this on the other thread...thought I'd copy it in here.

You donot have to surrender your I-94 if it has your Asylee status on there. Since you are an Asylee, your I-94 should not have an expiration date, and therefore does not need to be surrendered.

Rule of thumb is to always show them your RTD whenever traveling and never hand-over your I-94 to an IO until they specifically ask for it. Your RTD should suffice as proof of your status and your eligibility to leave/enter the USA.

Take care.

Well, actually this is what happened to me when I entered the U.S. last month. I was travelling with my (ugly, ugly) RTD and I also had my old I-94. The Immig. Officer told me that I'll actually need to fill a new I-94 form and then he stapled it to my RTD.
Oh, and he did ask me a lot of questions after he swiped my RTD through the machine but he was very polite, though. I'm just adding in this info 'cause I think someone asked about it earlier.
