do I need to extend my H1

I have got my EAD and AP in July and my H1 will be expired on Dec, is't anyone knows that I need to extend my H1 and what's the cost for that, usually how many days in advance should i file for that, is't a little late if i file at the end of Oct?

Why

Why you want to extend H1B. Dont you want to work on EAD, do you rather prefer to work on H1b. Why waste of money extending H1B? If you dont have any problem working on EAD, dont have to extend H1b. Now you are a adjustee, and will work as a payrole. You wont be non immigrant worker anymore.
