do i need to be present for follow to join interview

Hi,
I am a GC holder and am doing follow-to-join so my wife can join me. We were married prior to my getting GC, so she qualifies for Follow to join.

My question is that do I need to be present at her interview(new delhi). Do I need to be in India with her?

Also, if anyone has gone through this process, any experiences will be appreciated.

No, you are not required to be present unless the consulate/embassy specifically requests so.
