Hi Everybody:

Maybe you can help me as you might have had this experience. I will be interviewed at Newark next week. My medical exam was done less than a year ago. Do I need to get another exam despite their sending a blank form to be filled along with the interview letter. My attorney says I don't need to get it done. She is extremely knowledgeable so I don't know whether its OK or should I go ahead and get the exam anyway.

Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

No need to repeat medical exam. Under a new circular from the UCIS because of backlog in the system any applicants who filed a medical test report will not require a new one until January 2007. My wife recently had her interview and she had her medical done in 2001 (when we filed our application together). They did not ask for a recent medical although under the previous rule a medical was supposed to expire within 18 months. She was interviewed and her passport was stamped without them even asking anything about the medical exam. You can find that circular on the main BCIS web page. Hope these were helpful information. Thank you very much.
