Do I need Machine Readable Pakistani Passport for H1B stamping in Canada?

Hello,

I came to US in 2006 on F1 visa (on hand written passport) which expired in early 2009 and I renewed my passport from Pakistan embassy in houston which is hand written. My question is do I need to have machine readable passport for stamping H1B in canada? my current passport is valid till 2014.

I will appreciate any response.

Canada had not been processing third country nationals for initial stamping in a visa category. Check again. Expect to be redirected to your home country for this stamping.
