Do i need I-134?

Hi,

I've been reading about some DV winners submitting or asking to submit I-134 during an interview, eventhough the I-485 does not even mention it. Do i really need it?
if so, what if i'm not employed and don't have many assets, but my husband (whom applied under my spouse) is been working for years and has some assets? can he sign both I-134 for myself and him or do we need someone else?
 
Meemoo, I think an I-134 Form can only be signed/filled by an American Citizen/ Resident. They are the only ones who can prove that they can take care of you for some time so that you dont become a charge/liability to the US Government upon arrival to the US. So its not you/nor your husband who fill the form. On the other hand I believe your husbands assets can be used as financial evidence during the interview because you are one and his assets are your assets.... Good luck.
