My query concerns extension of H1-B visa.

I have been working on H1B visa since July 1999 and is due to expire in July
2005 (6 Years total). In the meanwhile my Green Card application was also being
processed. My Labor got approved in July 2004. My 140 and 485 were filed
concurrently in Aug 2004. I have already received my EAD and Advance Parole
documents about 3 months back. Recently my I-140 application has also been
approved but 485 is currently being processed.

I need to know if I should apply for an extension of my H1-B visa after 6 years
or Can I stay legally after 6 years on EAD and travel on AP. My EAD and AP is
also valid till August 2005 and will need to be extended.

Thanks and looking forward to hear from you

You can do either. You can extend your H-1B year-by-year or you can permit the H-1B to expire and travel on AP and work on EAD. Both have advantages and disadvantages and the best way to proceed depends on your situationl.
