Do I need a London Transit Visa?

Hi,

I'm on a F1 visa and working on my CPT, I'm travelling to India on Dec 24th, 2004. I'll be travelling over London, I DO NOT have airport change. Do I need to take a London transit visa or not? My visa is valid until May,2007.

Please let me know ASAP.

If you mean you will just land London to change the plane, to stay inside the airport, and not to enter the country, you shouldn't need a U.K. visa--as long as I understand and believe.
