My EAD (Economic Student Relief) is ending May 31 2002. I don\'t think I can get a renewal by then. Do you think I should quit my current job and apply for a job again when I have my practical training EAD?
Correct otherwise you would be working without authorization
You can request current employer to keep your position open for a while or hire some other person on a temporary basis and you can rejoin once you have your PT EAD.
