Do I have to call/fax my 140 approval to INS?

I filed 140 and 485 at the sme time. i got my 140 approval after RFE. Do I have to tell INS about approval of 140, to let them re-open my 485 case?

No, you don't need to tell or send your 140 approval to INS. They will process your I-485 when it is time to process.
