I have been married to a USC for almost 2 years. We will be filing soon. the only problem is he does not have any real source of income as I have been supporting the family and he has been doing odd jobs that pay cash. We filed our taxes together last year with only my W-2 as he didn`t have any. We have a joint sponsor that makes enough to cover twice the poverty guidelines but will this cause any problems for us? I cannot afford a lawyer so I appreciate any help or advice.

One more thing. Though I make good money I am not supposed to be working. came on F1 and out of status
 
I think you can apply through online for I 485 and AP.Once you get th e AP.Normally they wont check ur legal status if your husband applied for 485 through online.then go back to your country with AP and come back to US in legal process.then you will be in legal.If you still not comfortable,please check with Attorney .
