Do i have a chance for interview?

Hy i'm from asia..my case no.is AS98**. Do i have any chance for interview? If so when should i expect one?
 
Lets hope so..because this slow moving vb is really making me worried..last year asia cutoff was 9850 and it went current..this year it seems even worse than that..

this year max CN for Asia 23xxx .who know last year max Asia CN number?

In DV2014 there are 23k winners from AS region - so the max case number is higher - around 27k.

Last year the highest number interviewed (from the CEAC data) was 10682. However, there is good reason to believe that was not the highest number interviewed - but we don't have solid proof.
 
I was talking about the last cutoff number which was 9850 in july not case number and after that it went current for august and september..so i was wondering what would be the last cutoff number for dv 2014 and in which month it would go current..

A region goes current when there are enough remaining available visas to satisfy the likely demand from the remaining case numbers. I don't think that will happen in Asia this year, and I fear not for other regions also. There will remain unsatisfied demand greater than the available visas and therefore the region won't go current. So what we will probably see (just my guess) is that the VB will increase roughly in line with the pace for last year (hopefully somewhat ahead) but then instead of going current in August the number will increase in August also and hopefully in September too. However, that would mean there would be a cutoff in place at the end of the year so people would know in mid July that their number is never going to be called. That will be a very sad time.

I hope I am wrong about all this - but I feel I should tell it how I see it.

In terms of the final cutoff - I am hoping that pace will increase and we will see a number in the high teens for September. That would leave lots of people disappointed but given the status after 5 months bulletins, even that is by no means certain.
