Do FP ahead of appointment

Me and my wife got second FP notice and it is scheduled at July 8, my question is can we physically go to INS office and have it done earlier? Because my wife is in bay area while i am in LA, and we want to do it together.

yourtt, I think you should try and do your FP sooner. The worst that could happen is that they could send you back, but it's worth it.

2nd fp is an indication that your case is being worked upon, before it gets buried with a mound of dusty files, complete that information in your file, .. get it done sooner.
 
Ok try this before you ask your wife to drive down.

Mention your FP center here, and see if anyone else tried early FP at that center. If they allow early FP, you should go ahead do it.
