Do children have to appear in bio appointment?

We have our bio appointment coming next week. Our chilrden are 11 and 10. Do they have to come to the appointment?

My 8 and 11 year olds did theirs a couple of months and they have been approved now.

My kids just the first time when we applied for asylum, not for GC approval, I asked and they told me that usually they don't fingerprint under 14.

If the kids have received a notice for the BIO then they have to go. If not then they don't. When I filed for the I-730 for my kids age 10 and 12 they went for their thumb prints and photos.
