Do anbody has the idea why our cases are being delayed while all the others are getting approved.

Is there any thing still pending check. All the checks I know i.e. Fbi name check, FP second everything is done.

Same Boat

I-485, Sept 2002 here. same or similar boat.

However, I am one of those Guineas Book of Records entities.

Labor Certification took 2 years 10 mths.

I-140 approval took 20 months.

I-485 is currently at 2 years, 1 month and 10 days.

Thus, unless the time comes when I have beaten all of you
in I-485 delays, I think I am stuck.
 
My experience led me to believe that this actually helps.

I was in the same boat. Until late Sep '04 my message was " On Sep 27 2002 we have received your fingerprints ..." blah blah.

On Sep 22, 2004 I initiated an inquiry and my LUD changed 4 days later where they said that they have responded to my inquiry. Though I never received a letter, I am sure it might have asked me to wait another 30 days or so. Again on Oct 12, I asked my wife to initiate an inquiry on her case (derivative). I did this on purpose just to see if their answer would be the same "wait for 30 days" . But surprisingly, our GCs were on Oct 13th.

May be it was a luck, because the processing dates are the same as your RD.

total 6 f***years for f***green card and still f***waiting.

Folks .. Me and wife are still waiting. Contacted FBI and found FP and Name check cleared. Did FP in aug 2004

Contected congressman in July.. Do not know what is holding it up.. Keep hope...
