One of my friend is going through a rough time with her marriage. Her husband is the primary applicant and is planning to apply I-485 in the coming week. He got his I-140 approved.
Will the INS approve the 485 petition for both of them(primary and derivative)incase if they apply for divorce after they file 485 ? ( Her husband wants to apply 485 and help her in getting the GC ).
