Is divorce in foreign country recognized by USCIS for immigration purpose?
If a person was married in foreign country then brought his wife to US then due to trivial issues the wife abandons the marital home with ulterior motives and becomes impossible for husband to contact wife. In such situation the husband goes back to the foreign country where they were married and gets divorce. Will this be recognized as valid divorce for future immigration purpose when he wants to bring a new wife.

A foreign judgment of divorce generally is recognized in a state in the United States on the basis of legal reciprocity where both parties had notice of the divorce proceeding and an opportunity to be heard within these proceedings. Marriage and divorce generally are considered matters reserved to the states rather than to the federal government.
Specific questions regarding the validity of foreign divorces in particular states in the United States should be referred to the office of the Attorney General of the state in question. It may be necessary to retain the services of a private attorney if the office of the state Attorney General does not provide such assistance to private citizens.

States also may consider the jurisdictional basis upon which the foreign decree is founded and may not recognize the foreign divorce if the court is not satisfied that at least one party was domiciled in the country at the time of the divorce. Many state courts which have addressed the question of a foreign divorce where both parties participate in foreign divorce proceedings but neither is domiciled in the foreign county have followed the view that such a divorce is invalid.

What is the country of domicile of a person who came to US and lived in US for six months and got GC only recently.
Will it be country of origin or US?

By definition if you have a green card you should be domiciled in the US (unless you are temporarily living elsewhere with a re-entry permit).
