divorce for H1

A person on H1b and his wife on H4, decides to get uncontested divorce after very short married life. Is there anything specific, that the H1B should do so that he does not get any problem in future in terms of immigration or GC or H1 processing.

Once you are divorced your wife or the H4 status holder will be out of status. He/She will need to leave USA as soon as possible. Divorce has no implication in obtaining GC. You have to mention that when you apply for I-485 though.
