Hi,

My husband and I got married in April 2007 and I got my GC in October of 2008, it going to expired in end of 2010.
We live in Hawaii. After two years of marriage we have lots of problems, we both going to a different directions, and the way that things looking right now our marriage will not last long.
My question is if I getting divorce before the time to fill the I-751 is come will the Immigration deny my request?
There is anything that I can do to stay here after the divorce?

Thank you, Ill appreciate any advice.

For as long as the marriage was entered in good faith and not merely to obtain immigration benefits, you can file the I-751 by yourself as soon as the divorce is final...

With plenty of evidence (new evidence since you obtained the GC) showing joint life together and that you gave the marriage a try. You may be able to get the conditions on your card removed based on the Waiver option.

Do a little more research, try counseling? and do not listen to the poster above :p (yes, you could be denied... but that is not the only thing that can happen).

Dont listen to the poster Roxy. There are so many good faith/abuse approvals recorded on this board. The CIS has a protocol in place for divorce/separated applicants.
