Hi,
My relative from Pakistan got married to a US citizen. After two and a half years of marriage (she lived in Pakistan for the first two years waiting for the GC), they are getting a divorce. It's been one of those messy divorces where both parties were unhappy with each other.
She is now back in Pakistan. Her husband says that he has cancelled her Green Card stating that she fraudulently married him for the Green Card.
First, is it possible for him to cancel her GC?
Second, is there anyway I can verify by calling some government agency to find out if it has really been cancelled? She has sent me her GC info.
Thanks for your help.
