DIV-L Application Spouse.

Hi there all,

On the DIV 2016 instructions it says that the Spouse may claim their partners (primary applicant) birth country in the application. My husband is from a non-eligible country, but according to the rules, he'll be ok on my application.

My question is, can he make a separate application in his name with me as spouse, claiming my country of birth? Or does this only work when I am the primary applicant?

Thanks in advance.

Both can enter. If you win, it is a normal case where only you gave to meet the criteria on education etc as the principal selectee. If he wins, both of you will be required to meet the criteria. My situation was the same - I entered charging to my wife's country. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply Simon. :) Good to know that my other half can also apply even though his country (Brazil) is currently ineligible for participation in the DIV-L .
