Discrepancy - PERM app & Work Exp Letter

Gurus,

Have a question on a discrepancy between my PERM app and Work Experience Letter. My PERM application says I worked with organization X from Jan 1st 2001 to Jun 30th 2001. The work experience letter from X says I worked from Jan 29th 2001 to Jun 1st 2001. Will this discrepancy be an issue? (I have listed 5 other organizations in my PERM application. X is the first organization i worked with. I am still trying to gather letters from the 5 other organizations i worked with after X and hopefully those will reflect the same dates i have indicated on my PERM application). Kindly advise.

It could be an issue if you are using this experience to claim that you have enough experience as stated in PERM. For example, if PERM states you must have at least 12 months of experience and the experience letter in question is one of the experience letters you are using in order to claim several months of these 12 months than it is a problem. If the experience letter in question is extra months/years of experience that you are showing but you can easily go without them, then you do not have a problem. Hope this helps. Good luck!
