Hello,

Below given is the letter i got from the consulate in New Delhi. I need some direction. And tips guys........

Can some one tell me what form does one need to fill up and where can one find them.

Dear applicant,
Thank your for receipt of your application in the skilled worker class, which was received on Feb. 29, 2000 under the former Canadian immigration legislation (Immigration Act, 1976 and Immigration Regulations, 1978, 2002 new Canadian immigration legislation was implemented. This new legislation is entitled the immigration and refugee protection act (IRPA) and the immigration and refugee protection regulations.
Section 201 of ZIRPA states that the regulations may provide the measures regarding the transition between the former act and this act.

Subsection 361(5) of the immigration and refugee protection regulations, 2002, provides that if a foreign national referred to in paragraph (2)(a) made an application before jan. 1, 2002 for an immigrant visa and has not, before april1,2003 been awarded the number of units of the assessment required by the former regulations, they must obtain a min. of 70 points based on the factor set out in paragraph 76(1) (a) of the new regulations to become a permanent resident of the federal skilled worker class. An assessment is made on the basis of satisfactory information documentation and, if necessary, at an interview with an immigration officer.

As you were not interview by april 1, 2003, the new selection criteria under IRPA will apply. You may wish to review our website www.cic.gc.ca for further information on the new requirements for IRPA.

In order to access your application under the IRPA section criteria, please provide within 3 months from the date of this letter the information/documentation as listed below. Once the information and/or documentation requested below is received, yo0ur application will be reviewed and a decision will they be made as to whether an interview is still required.


· Completed IRPA application form and schedules and supporting documents. You may download the application form and schedules from www.cic.gc.ca.
· Proof of sufficient funds. Please refer to www.cic.gc.ca for funds required to settle in Canada.
· There is insufficient proof of your English Language ability. If you are claiming language skill on your application, you must provide conclusive proof of your language skills. We strongly recommend that you take a language test from an approved organization if you are claiming skills in a language that is not your language, please take a information on TELTS, please consult http://www.ielts.org Please submit the original copy of the Test Report Form. Do not alter or laminate the test report form.
· There is insufficient proof of your French language…………….
· Professing fees for your spouse………
· Proof of relationship with relative in Canada.

If you fail to submit the information and /or documents listed above within 3 months your application will be assessed on the basis of the information that is already before the officer and may be refused with no further notice.

The reply you have received is nothing new, applicants who applied under the old law and have not been interview by 31 March 2003 are getting such letter. Please visit the following website, you can down load the forms www.cic.gc.ca

You will have fill the following forms

Form IMM008 egen (principal applicant) [Main form]
Schedule 1 (Principal Applicant and spouse) [Background info]
Scheduel 3 (Principal Applicant) [Employment History]
IMM5406 (Principal Applicant and Spouse) [Family tree]

You will have to sent the Cost of Recovery Fee (application fee) for your spouse

If you have relative in Canada, you will have to provide the landing papers, family tree record from parents and grand parents etc.

You will have to appear for IELTS exam send the result within 3 months along with the above documents or seperately as you feel comfortable.
