Direct Consulate Filing and Affidavit of Support

Hello there,

First question; can i file Direct filing for my mom-i am a USC-to bring her to the United States from Amman-Jordan?

Second question; If i file Direct filing petition for my mom;I-130; is the Affidavit of Support still required.
 
I have the same question. For doing a DCF in Delhi now the rules have changed (since june1). The applicant needs to provide the embassy that he has ongoing employment in India. If am working in India, the AOS will have only the bank statements but no paystubs.

could any experts throw light on this please.
