my name in my new passport different spelling from my old passport
but the name in the new passport compatible with KCC letters First and second.


is that a problem to have different spelling name between old passport and new one?
 
just make sure all your paper work lines up. went threw a similar issue with a middle name that wasnt registered so i made sure all my passports n paper work lined up with my birth cert to avoid issues down the line.
 
i'm not talking about middle name issue
i said all of my papers compatible with my passport in name spelling, but the old passport (cancelled passport) had different spelling name
this is what i'm talking about.

is that an issue
 
old passport isnt valid so why would it matter? u have a new passport with the correct spelling and all documents line up so there shouldnt be any issue
 
They might need old passports to check on previous refusals, change of names, or entries to suspicious regions...However, I think that you will be alright as long as your name in your native language matches in all passports and application.
