different notice dates & approval dates on HIB

i did not pay attention before on my H1 notice but its approval date is feb2003, notice date is may2003 and i joined my waiver job in june2003. so my H1 is expiring in feb even though my 3 years of waiver are up on June 2006.
is there anyway to get the it corrected , how can INS send an notice of approval in May and put an approval date for feb. Has anyone done that, that way i dont have to get Hi renewal as I have an approved 140.
2. if i understood it clearly from a previous post ,i have to stay on H1 for atleast three years and cant use my EAD even if its from the same employer and job for the period Feb to June 16th.

H1b renewal

You need to renew your H1b either way, since you need to be in H1b until june anyway. It will therefore make no difference to you whether the INS changes their date to May or not. You are within 2 months of your H1b expiry, you need to apply for a renewal ASAP.
Your use of EAD/approved 140 etc are for consideration AFTER you waiver in June 2006.
