Hi All,
Here is some unique case.
* I was working for company A. I filed the labor and got approval.
* After that Company A got merged with company B.
* I filed I-140 on the name of company B as company B leading the operations. My I-140 got approved.
* Again before I file I-485, Comapny C brought Compnay AB.
So I filed I-485 with company C by submitting the letter saying 'successor-in-intrest'.
* I got EAD, finger prints done and basically wating for good.
My RD is '04/21/2002'. I read Murthy.com about these merger issues and I hope what my lawyer did was right thing.
My questions is do I need to file I-140 on the name of company C or not ?. My lawyer says we may not needed to file.
If have any Idea please let me know.
thanks
