My A# on AP is different from the one i have on the original I-485 Notice of Action. Does anyone know if i am going to have problems because of that when I travel next month??? Do they check all A#s or how does it work? The A# on AP is the same one as on my EAD though, what is going on here? please advise if you have any info. thank you

When you apply for AOS (I-485) they may issue you a different A#.
For example, one can get an A# from J-2 (If applying for EAD) or when applying for a waiver. Later you apply for I-485 and give your old A#, and when you receive I-485 receipt you may see a new A# different from ur old one.
I think they just issue a new one because of a file number or something...
my spouse old A# was 130**** and then new A# became 097***

Thats my exact situation but the question is, will i have problems because of that when i travel in two weeks??? please share info if available

I don't see why you should have problems travelling because of this. I think since you got a new A#, just use it now...however, I was not travelling since filing I-485 and my friend with different A#'s also was not. Maybe someone else could have more info for you..
