I got my EAD renewed recently.. and I noticed it has different A# (Alient No.) than what I have on my previous EAD/I-485 receipt. I talked to IIO at 1-800 no., he says your no. has been changed because of some consolidation process. I talked to my attorney on the same day. She says, she talked to INS customer service and they say the original documents should be sent back to INS to correct the mistake, which may take around 4 months. So I am getting cotradictory info from two diff sources. Did this happen to anybody? What should be done? Any info/thought will be really appreciated....
