Differences between working on EAD and H1

I recently got my EAD. Will I be on H1 status or EAD status. Also, if I do a part time job, I understand that I am on EAD status, but is it detrimental in any way, or am I fine.

Of course there are a few difference compare using H1B or EAD. But the only one you should concern is: Once you used your EAD ( even for part-time job), you will lost your H1B status automatically.

So if your 485 get rejected, your status can NOT go back to H1B or any other visa. You have to be out of country first before you can come back to work again.

So do not use EAD if you don\'t have to, like a part-time job...

only advise. you have to make your own judgement.
