hello , is there anyone who has recently immigrated as winner of 2015 DV lottery? I am winner and hope to travel soon, but i want to enter and leave shortly after 1 month, wll my immigrant visa allow me to travel out of USA and reenter again or i will be given a temporary permanent resident stamp that can enable me travel out of the US? Thanks for your response
 
The visa becomes an I551 valid for a year when you enter. You can use it for anything you need a green card for, and your plastic one should arrive long before it expires.
