Difference between EAD & iEAD ???

Hi,

Its been long due and I have not recd. my first EAD yet. My attorney is suggesting me to go for iEAD. Can somebody tell me the advantages and disadvantages of going for iEAD Vs EAD.

Also, can we file for SSN based on iEAD?

Frankly no difference, but I know that you can get your SSN based on Interim EAD too. But interim EAD is normally isssued for not more than 8 months, before which officially you should get your original EAD.

No Advantage nor Disadvantage.
