Didn't get FP notice yet

Friends,

I Worked for company A,
1) filed LC, 140(RD March 2001)
2) got RFE for 140, reponded
3) later Laid off from the company in OCT 2001.
4) Joined Consulting company from Nov 2001
5) Approved 140 in March 2002
6) Filed for 485 in April 2002
7) Went to India for vacation, didn't stamped my passport with new employers H1 transfer, because my attorney suggested not to.
8) Filed for EAD got Photo RFE on EAD, responded on OCT 15, but AVM says that INS recvd on NOV 4th


Anybody with similar date waiting for FP, can I schedule FP? can I get Interim EAD?

Pl. suggest :-(

Many April 2002 filers are still waiting for FP.

Just curious, how did you file I-485 months after leaving the sponsoring company? Did the old company give you employment letter?

You can get EAD from local INS..
 
I did it myself

485 is my application company has nothing to do with it,

Do you know if I have to take some document which all? if possible address of Local INS?
 
take with you receipt of I-485 and EAD. Also passport and drivers lic.

San Jose office is on Monterey Road. www.ins.gov -> field offices has the complete address including directions.

I am little confused, how come sponsoring company has nothing to do with it? Is it a self petition (like NIW?), guess not because that does not require LC. Anyway, I don't care.

but, if you want to do it you can send a fax to Div-I asking them
to send you a FP notice. We did this a month back and we got a
response in two days with a scheduled date. Good Luck.
