Didn't get EAD even after 90 days.

My receipt date is July 24th and my notice date is August 15th. Shouldn't I be getting EAD by now? I heard somewhere before that EAD doesn't take more than 90 days. Mine is already more than 90 days now.
 
Hi,

If it is delayed do not wait for some thing to happen. Take an info pass appointment and request them for an interim EAD.

Don't waste time with infopass. Those so.... are not giving interim ead.
Instead they are vague reply it is upto employer to keep you employed for the time u r waiting for ead.
 
I also got the exact same response when I took the Infopass and enquired about options available with the expiring EAD. Dont know if it is leagl to work with expired EAD..

so they are saying that its upto us....and they will not be able to help about it......that means if we want to remain in legal status....we will have to quit work officially and only work so that we dont get fired....f*** uscis....
 
got approved on last day. I don't know which one did the trick expedite request or infopass inquiry. But that's for sure something did awake them.

What is the start date on your new EAD? is it from the date it got approved or from the date the old one was approved?

did you get the new EAD within 90 days?

when did you send the Expediate request?

Did you took finger printing for the new EAD?

Your answers will help since I am in the similar situation applied for EAD on Sep 6th and no updates yet

....not received yet, those idiots can give either date. Only worry is if they give a date which is after expiry.

It is on the site uscis.gov. Go under 765 form. Everything is listed out there. Also I am not sure whether it was expedite request or infopass. So try both if it is do and die situation, also contact congressman of your area.

Was there any LUD on your EAD after the expedite req/infopass? or was it a direct approval..

I am just trying to get a picture of what will happen after those request
 
EAD Expedited request

Hi GaramChai,

Can you please indicate the steps involved in making the expedited request process. I could not see in I765 form. Probably I might be looking at a wrong page. Your help is greatly appreciated.
