Did walk-in FP, now got FP notice, what next?

Did a walkin FP for code3 FP and was allowed to do both of them. This was on Jan 28, 2006. The website status check got updated with a Last Update Date (LUD) of Jan 30th, 2006 for both I-485/I-765

Now we got a FP notice on Feb 7th, ND: Feb 2nd, 2006 for code3 with a fingerprint appointment on March 2nd, 2006.

Called USCIS: They said send a letter explanining that we already did the fingerprints.

What are the options?

Should we go do the fingerprinting again? OR
ignore the notice? OR
send a letter to USCIS saying we already did the fingerprints?

I got FP notice for i-485 for 1/31/06. I went and had both FP done for i-485 & i-765. Now.. Feb 6 got another FP notice for i-765 for 2/25/06.

BUT today got my EAD approved, so I called my lawyer. He will call me back to tell me what to do in this case.
 
I did my FP's by walk-in Feb 2nd, and today (Feb 9) got an appointment letter to do my FP's on March 3rd. What do I do? Should I just ignore the letter? Why would they send this letter after I already did my FP's? Anyone with advice please advise.
 
EAD approved.. 2/9/06

Got an email from USCIS that EAD was approved and card has been ordered.
LUD also go updated 2/9/06

I guess we can ignore the fingerprint letter, since EAD got approved.
 
THe same happened to me

My case was sent at the end of July 2005. In Sept I got a letter for fingerprinting I-765, which was made in Oct. I made both, code 3. Received the letter for fingerprinting AOS some days after. AT the USCIS place the person who attended me told me that probably they would send a letter for AOS fringerprint and it is to be ignored.

No problem. I called the FBI to see if my fingerprinting and name check were already cleared. The FBI told me that the fingerprinting was already sent back to USCIS and that probably my name is almost cleared (they usually do it in 120 to 180 days), since the new Immigration rules for those who applied after Jan 2004.

EAD Card received. 2/13/06. There was also a LUD on this date for EAD.

Also received AP. Do not see any updates online for this.
