Did not Renewed EAD of my wife, I-485 pending is there any issue

Hi All,
while applying for I-485 my former employer has also applied EAD for my wife, but she never worked. Next year her EAD got expired and i did not renewed it because she is a home maker (house wife) and since she is not working so waste of renewing her EAD. But i did renewed my EAD as i am working.
Will there be an issue with the GC process since my wife's EAD got expired.
Now she went to India on Advance Parole, will there be an issue while returning to USA, and that she wont be allowed to enter into USA, because she dont have a valid EAD.
Please let me know people.

If you never renewed EAD for your wife she can never enter US again.

I am just joking, I know you don't like it. Truth is EAD has nothing to do with anything except working. She only need AP + Passport + I-485 Receipt. She is fine to enter without any problem if her AP is not expired. Also it doesn't affect the green card process in any way.

All she'll need...

at the Port of Entry are AP + Passport + maybe I-485 receipt. When I came on AP, they only ask me for AP and Passport. 1 copy of AP was stamped and returned to me. Thats all.

You do not need to renew her EAD, if your spouse is not planning to work. And it doesn't affect your/her 485. She needs her AP to reenter US, EAD is not needed.
