Did not receive FP notice

I did concurrent filing for 485/140 from Nebreska center on 10/27/04. I got EAD/AP approved however I did not receive Finger Print notice so far. Another friend of mine who applied with similar conditions on a later date received Finger Print notice. I was wondering if my FP notice got lost some where or they did not send it at all. Is it normal that different people get FP notices differently irrespective of the date filed. Is there a way where I can check if they sent an FP notice for me.
Any information is greatly appreciated.

check your case online in the uscis site. I just read in the forum some one saying that the online message will change and will be something like

"On DATE, we mailed a notice requesting that you appear for fingerprint recording. The notice also gave the times and location where this processing could be done."

Hope this helps.
 
As an October 2004 filer you are woried about fingerprinting?

I had my I 140 approved in April 2002 and have just received my first fingerprinting notice.
