Did early FP in connecticut.

Hi,

I am March 14'th RD. First FP resulets recieverd by the BCIS on May 30'th 2002. Recieved secong fingerprinting on Oct 16'th. Scheduled for Nov. 6'th. I did early FP in connecticut on Oct 18'th (Saturday). Me and my wife went there at 8:00 AM and i told them well ahead that i have important business meeting on 6'th so if there is any possibility of doing early fp that would be of great help to me. The guy on the front desk was courtious. Since it is saturday, there was not much rush also. Finished FP and got out out of the office by 9:00.

When we call FBI to ask about the results what do we need?, Alien registration number??. If some one tell me the FBI phone number that will be good. Thanks guys.

Have alien registration number handy before calling them. I have given 2 fps in hartford. Both the times FBI processed the fps on the same day.

FBI is quick in sending the report. But from BCIS point of view, early FP has no meaning, becuse they already have a backlog to clear. I did mine early too but , other than some mental satisfaction for the applicant, it does not seem to result in any tangible benefit.
