it's been 8 months since LA INS office has received my case from CSC still i have not received an interview notice so i went to check status of the case ...
reached at ins office (300 N.la) at 4:30 am.
The information room opens at 6:00 am.
Line was moving very slow though i got the chance to enter the room at 10:45 am.
talk to IIO ( immigration information officer)
my case has been transfer to la ins in june-02 why i have not received the inerview notice yet? she asked me to show the last mail received from ins.
I gave her copy of FP that we did in Nov-02. then she punched the A# in computer and told me your file is in this room and it will take up to 90 days after we receive FP results (which was received in January-03) and before we mail an interview notice.
IIO :So for interview date you are looking at appx end of april or begining of may.
Me: But why some cases had transfer to ins after june-2002 and they have received their interview notices.
IIO: every cases are different cases.
