Did anyone tried to get an H1 stamped?

Let's start a new thread to share experiences on getting H1 stamped from Toronto based on the new rule.

Did anyone (specially someone from the list of countries requires registration) try to get an stamp recently? How long does it take? Do they wait for FBI clearence or immediately issue a visa?

Advice for Travelling through Europe to India for H-1B Stamping

I have a 7th year H-1B and planning to travel to India for business purposes. Someone recently told me that I can not travel through Europe unless I have a visa stamp in my passport. Is this true ? Appreciate if anyone has any advice to offer. Already have an appointment at the Mumbai Consultate for Stamping.
