Did anyone receive any correspondense for WE RESPONDED TO YOUR REQUEST status

Yes, July 29th I got the following email: "On July 28, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

My lawyer informed me a couple of days later that he had emailed them a Change of Address Request on my behalf - and the above email was related to his request.

Hopefully this helps.

Thanks

In response to the inquiry you or your representative initiate, INS responds either by Fax or snail mail.
I for one received a snail mail. In the response I received, the officer mentioned that they assign cases to an officer in batches of 50 or 100 and that my case will be adjudicated in the order it was received. The letter also states that, I need to give ample time to the officer to judiciously evaluate my case. So figure out guys if you are number 1 in the batch, you get your GC first and you are last you get last.
I guess, in the batch I am, the officer is on long vacation.

My attorney was recently told that my case file is with the officer now.
I have 485 ND of Sept 2001 which has been long overdue.

Does that mean I shd have my GC soon?
